LUBRATEC® closures

Closures to seal off large vehicle entrances, from LUBRATEC® wind protection range.

Apart from providing wind protection, closure systems serve to seal off vehicle entrances that are larger than standard doors. In the closed position, they are tensioned by ratchets to create an effective barrier against wind and weather. In terms of opening action, a distinction is drawn between rolling and folding, and between upward- and side-opening systems.

Models

The roller blind closure is used to close off vehicle entrances that are larger than standard closures. The hanging is either fully wound up at the top (open position) or unrolled and tensioned at the bottom by ratchets (closed position). Extra-long systems can be operated by means of a fixed drive motor with long telescopic articulated coupling or a travelling drive motor. Shorter units can be operated by crank handle with integral gearbox.

Though limited in terms of length, the roller blind closure with tube motor incorporates lateral guide rails and lip seals as added features. It is used to close off vehicle entrances that are larger than standard doors. The hanging is either fully wound up at the top (open position) or unrolled and tensioned at the bottom by ratchets (closed position). No ratchets are required for indoor assemblies (e.g. between holding area and milking parlour).

The roll-up wall is an easily retractable curtain, fixed to the building at the top with a rail and wound onto the roller suspended below. The roll-up wall can be either fully open or fully closed. When closed (in the fully unrolled position), the roller is tensioned at the bottom by ratchets and claw hooks. Operation is by either a tube motor or geared crank handle.

The folding closure is used to close off vehicle entrances that are larger than standard doors. It opens from the bottom upwards, with the hanging gathering at the top. Horizontal belts, stitched to the hanging and carried by rollers in lateral aluminium guide rails, ensure reliable opening and closing even in windy conditions. The space requirement for the folded hanging must be factored in when determining the headroom. At the sides, space is only needed for the rails. When closed, the folding closure is secured at the bottom by ratchets. The closure is operated by means of a drive motor or hand winch with pull chain.

The sliding closure is particularly suitable for low headrooms, where no space is available at the top for the retracted hanging. The entire closure is opened and closed by means of a pull strap that runs along the top. Two large ratchets allow the hanging to be tensioned at the sides. The sliding closure is secured at ground level using easily attachable belt buckles.
